Worship Pastor/ Technology
Job Description
First Baptist Church of Bonifay, FL is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor who will be responsible for leading the music ministry and overseeing the technical aspects of worship services. This person may also be asked to perform other ministries and duties assigned by the Lead Pastor.
Qualifications:
1. A strong Christian faith and a heart for ministry.
2. Bachelor’s degree in music / Worship or a related field with training/experience in worship ministry.
3. Doctrinally Aligned with the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000.
This individual will:
1. work closely with the Lead Pastor in cultivating worship experiences which foster congregational singing, as well as leading a well-established Worship choir.
2. direct the planning, conducting, and evaluating a multi-generational music program.
3. demonstrate the ability to lead different worship styles and traditions (ex. contemporary praise and Worship, hymnody, traditional, choral anthems, Southern Gospel, etc.)
4. exhibit proficiency in current church software, (Planning Center, Propresenter, etc.), as well as keeping current with new technology and trends in worship production.

FBC Bonifay was established in 1899. We are a multi-generational church family which offers over 20 active ministries to serve our community. There is also a campus for our Hispanic brothers and sisters. The Church Averages 350 Active Members between Two services weekly.
Bonifay is the county seat for Holmes County, FL. Centrally located in the Florida panhandle, Holmes County is between Pensacola and Tallahassee, and is 50 miles north of the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida.
