FAQs
-
The Bible calls every believer to belong to a church and says that every leader will be held accountable for those in their flock. Committing to membership in a church places you under the spiritual authority of that church’s leaders and allows those leaders to know who they are to shepherd.
-
No. A member is someone who formally submits to the spiritual leadership of the church they belong to. We ask everyone each year to recommit to this (but don’t worry—if you come mid-year, you don’t have to wait until January)!
-
To care for our people well, we ask each member to re-commit each year to our body. This allows us to know who we are responsible for shepherding and caring for and gives each person a chance to make that personal commitment.
